An overly active imagination and an upbringing perfused with strange abstract art have come together to fuel a love for "altered images". I enjoy seeing things from another perspective, a different view of reality, and hope to encourage in others, a slightly skewed outlook.

    Although not an artist by profession, I do come to it with a certain genetic predisposition. Starting at a very early age, I had access to, and gained memorable experience with, a great variety of mediums because of a parent who was an artist by avocation and occupation. Since the parent was a full time professor of art at a large university, I had the use of any and all facilities found at the school.

    My sculptural work tends to both the organic and in the absurd. The digital art derives from severely abstracted images extracted from reality.

    When pressed for a response, I have summarized my feelings on the subject by stating art indeed has the potential to act as a vehicle for intellectual transformation and social change.
